I am a practicing play therapy counsellor working in the Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard and Milton Keynes, area for the past 15 years. I am committed to providing therapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment for your child.
As a qualified therapist I can give your child the space and time to explore any life difficulties they may be facing at the present time. This is achieved by allowing your child to choose the way they may need to express themselves. Children will carry this out using the language of play. I follow a client-centered approach. I believe that everyone has the right and ability to solve their own issues. Through my work I have seen this foster autonomy and bring about a new sense of confidence and resilience.
I work with both children and adults on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling them to enhance their lives and to live them more fully. As a therapist I have experience of working with all age ranges of children, adolescents and teenagers. My clients come from various backgrounds, belief systems and home situations, e.g. children in care or looked after children.

As a self-employed therapist I have worked in many different locations, normally I see children within a school setting, but have also worked in children's centers as well. I feel I am very flexible in the support I provide to children and their families.
